FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (December 13, 2021) – The whole world knows about the “Twelve Days of Christmas” during the holidays, but this year Fleet Advantage and its Kids Around The Corner Foundation is singing about its Fourteen Charitable Donation Recipients. Fleet Advantage has a strong and proud tradition of placing an emphasis on serving local communities. Through the company’s Kids Around The Corner Foundation, it has continued to support its community and several important causes through charitable donations during 2021. The company has announced the very deserving organizations that received donations totaling $100,000 this year and is working to help raise awareness for each cause.

Here is a summary of the donation recipients in 2021:

The Hometown Foundation -

The Hometown Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit charitable foundation established in 2002, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and their families in hometowns and surrounding communities where they operate.  -

Primary goal is to reunite truck drivers and their family in times of crisis. Through a donation made in honor of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week, Fleet Advantage became an official sponsor of their program and secured a total of (10) college education savings accounts through their Sleigh Bells and Santa initiative.

Camelot Community Care -

For over 30 years, Camelot Community Care has been serving children and families experiencing abuse, neglect, behavioral health and substance abuse issues. Fleet Advantage sponsored their “Kicks for Kids” Kickball Classic event that helps raise funds to provide support to foster children, young adults, and adoptive families.

SafeSpace South Florida -

SafeSpace empowers the safety and well-being of adult victims of domestic violence and their children by providing intervention, prevention, and advocacy services.

Rand Eye Foundation -

In the local community, across the country and around the world, the Rand Eye Foundation remains a strong advocate for the prevention of blindness through early detection and education.

Gand – Helping Hands for Gand -

To support individuals and families affected by GATAD2B-associated neurodevelopmental disorder (GAND), to increase awareness, and to work toward research and treatment opportunities to enrich the lives of those with this rare genetic condition.

POAT – Police Officers Assistance Trust -

Dedicated to the law enforcement community of Miami-Dade County by providing assistance to the officers and their immediate families in the times of hardship and personal crisis.

Junior Achievement of South Florida -

JA of South Florida empowers its youth with the knowledge, ability, and confidence to navigate their futures, drive our economy, and lead their community.

Women In Distress -

Mission is to stop domestic violence abuse for everyone through intervention, education and advocacy. Fleet Advantage is also hosting a toy and blanket drive during its holiday party this year for an additional donation.

Team Blue Line -

Team BlueLine was born out of the need that no officer nor family struggling with a line-of-duty loss or physical/mental injury would do it alone.

Horseplay Therapy -

Horseplay therapy center is one of the only organizations in Northeast Florida that provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to children with special needs on horseback in comprehensive medical treatment model knows as Hippotherapy.

Arc Broward -

Arc Broward has worked hand-in-hand with our community, changing how people with developmental disabilities and life challenges are embraced and included. This critical work ensures that people with disabilities, not only live, learn, work, and play in their communities, but more importantly, thrive.

Salvation Army Angel Tree -

The Salvation Army has been active in Broward County since 1926, working to fulfill its mission of “meeting human needs in His name without discrimination”. Fleet Advantage’s donation will help provide toys to 230 children this holiday season.

Broward Outreach -

Broward Outreach helps men, women, and children with meals, safe shelter, life Employees donated and Fleet Advantage matched this Thanksgiving, providing 1,552 meals. changing residential programs, employment, and housing resulting in transformed lives.
