FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (December 11, 2019) – Fleet Advantage, a leading innovator in truck fleet business analytics, equipment financing, and lifecycle cost management today announced it has been selected as a 2019 Green Supply Chain Award recipient by Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine.

The Supply & Demand Chain Executive Magazine’s Green Supply Chain Award is issued annually to organizations working to achieve measurable sustainability goals within their operations in the areas of procurement, logistics, operations and product lifecycle management. Fleet Advantage was selected for its turn-key asset management solution and its proprietary ATLAAS software (Advanced Truck Lifecycle Administrative Analytics Software), which allows for organizations in the supply chain to leverage data analytics to lower environmental impact and their TCO (Total Cost of Ownership).

The transportation sector of the supply chain increasingly relies on new technologies to do more with less, improve efficiencies, and cut costs out of their operations. Fleet Advantage helps accelerate the adoption of these new technologies and is implementing green supply chain initiatives through its asset management solutions and award-winning ATLAAS software each and every day.

The solution encompasses many facets of sustainability including optimizing vehicle specification (to be more fuel-efficient and aligned to the duty cycle and geographic locale), specifying lighter components and allowing for longer maintenance intervals (also reducing environmental hazmat disposal), and disposing of pre-owned equipment to a secondary market providing more fuel-efficient vehicles.

Fleet Advantage’s flexible finance program encourages continuous replacement of older equipment for new vehicles, ensuring technology improvements in fuel efficiencies, which reduce millions of metric tons of CO2 and NOx particulate matter.

“Fleet Advantage has made it a company-wide goal to continue our commitment to green initiatives through reduced emissions by facilitating continuous new equipment for transportation fleets with our flexible finance program,” said Brian Holland, President and CFO at Fleet Advantage. “It’s an honor to be recognized for exceptional leadership in an area that’s so important to our clients and their business stakeholders.”

“Every year our Green Supply Chain Award recipients demonstrate what is achievable in supply chain sustainability,” says John R. Yuva, editor for Supply & Demand Chain Executive. “It is clear that while sustainability is not a new concept, there is always more we can accomplish.”

“We extend our congratulations to this year’s award recipients and their commitment to green initiatives,” adds Yuva. “The entries serve as best-in-class examples for other companies to model and create value for their supply chains.”
