FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (December 17, 2021) – Fleet Advantage, a leading innovator in truck fleet business analytics, equipment financing, and life cycle cost management (LCCM) announced today it has been recognized as a recipient of the 2021 Green Supply Chain Award by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine. Recipients are featured in Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s December 2021 issue.

The Green Supply Chain Award recognizes companies that prioritize sustainability to be a core part of its supply chain strategy and are working to achieve measurable sustainability goals within their own operations and/or supply chains, in the areas of sourcing/procurement, fulfillment/logistics, operations, product lifecycle management and other areas of the supply chain.

Fleet Advantage was recognized for its Total Cost of Ownership model which promotes shorter life cycles and flexible finance options for clean diesel and safety-enhanced trucks. This helps customers reach their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals. In total, Fleet Advantage has saved customers approximately $250 million and approximately 175,000 metric tons in emissions since inception.

Fleet Advantage pioneered a focus on environmental stewardship when it opened its doors in 2008, and today continues in this leadership role. While alternate forms of engines have been in the headlines recently, the use of newer, clean-diesel technologies remain the most financially and environmentally viable solution for Class-8 trucks for the foreseeable future. However, company experts continue to monitor any progression toward alternate fuel technologies and will support the best strategy for its clients, as long as it coincides with their appropriate LCCM plan.

Company leaders believe sustainability cuts across all aspects of a business, from energy consumption to procurement. To bolster the “can do” belief and attitude among its associates, Fleet Advantage believes it is important to educate associates about sustainability as well as to create systems and processes that make it easier for associates to integrate sustainability into their business decisions.

“Since the founding of Fleet Advantage, sustainability and environmental leadership have been two very important pillars of our company’s core values,” said Brian Antonellis, CTP, Senior Vice President, Fleet Operations for Fleet Advantage. “We’re proud to be recognized by industry observers and are excited our associates and clients are able to acknowledge the commitment we have in making a cleaner environment.”
