FORT LAUDERDALE (July 7, 2021) – Fleet Advantage, a leading innovator in truck fleet business analytics, equipment financing, and life cycle cost management (LCCM) today announced Katerina Jones, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, has been named a NextGen Leader for Monitor Magazine’s 2nd Annual NextGen Leaders Award.
This award highlights 40 up-and-coming leaders under 40 in the equipment finance industry. Jones possesses over 17 years of experience across broad industries, products, and services. She provides a client-centric, data-driven and outcome-focused integrated marketing experience and independently leads the Fleet Advantage marketing division. She has achieved a number of professional accomplishments and has a proven track record of strategic solutions delivering above business benchmarks reflected in Fleet Advantage's bottom-line lease originations. In fact, her efforts led her to recently getting promoted to Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.
Jones is an advocate of the advancement of women within the transportation and equipment finance industries. In addition to being a mentor to other professional women who are beginning their careers in the industry, she regularly promotes the accomplishments professional women are experiencing throughout transportation and equipment finance, as well as educating on the opportunities within the industry.
“Katerina’s client-centric approach and leadership effectiveness has made a noticeable impact on the vision, direction, and achievements of Fleet Advantage,” said John Flynn, CEO of Fleet Advantage. “Katerina was both instrumental in helping us secure new business as well as onboarding new clients through the use of the structured marketing approach she developed and continues to execute to this day.”
Jones involves herself in several charitable organizations, industry-related council positions and committees. She has been actively involved in the National Private Truck Council (NPTC) for almost five years, where she is a member of the Annual Conference Planning Committee. She is highly regarded by this organization for her private fleet knowledge and dedication to the equipment finance industry. In this role, she has been an innovative and resourceful contributor in helping shape the substantive content and networking value of workshops and seminars, while helping raise the educational profile of both Fleet and Allied/Supplier members. Jones also developed and annually spearheads the IFDA (International Food Distribution Conference) Truck Driving Championship Kid’s Writing Contest.
